Installation of the cable assemblies into the railing is not extremely difficult, although it is very important that it is done correctly to assure code compliance & to achieve maximum beauty of the finished product.

Tensioning

Rail posts must be designed to handle the cable tensioning. Cables need to be tensioned to about 100 to 300 pounds each, depending on cable spacing & vertical post spacing. Please be sure that your end (termination) posts can handle this load and that vertical post spacing is kept to a minimum, usually 3 to 5 feet max.
