Installation Photos
Installing our cable railing posts is relatively easy. All components bolt together on site without the need for a welding contractor. Any carpenter, landscaper or handy homeowner should be able to complete the job.
Bolting on the posts. A string line is a handy way to ensure the top of the posts are level and in line. On this deck, the contractor used a piece of 2x4 to set the height since the deck it self was very level and straight.
Here a post is installed but the top rail is not on yet. Some of the cables are strung (but not tensioned).
Insert the threaded terminal into the corner post, add a washer and nut to the other side.

A completed corner. Notice how the cable is nearly invisable. Stainless steel carriage bolts mounting the IPE (Brazilian Hardwood) top rail.

The cable spacer is a steel spreadrer piece that can be used to reduce overall number of posts slightly and reduce apparent mass.
